Some facts about dental implants

How long does the treatment last?
Implantation is a longer procedure, in the lower jaw the healing period is 3 months, in the upper jaw it's 6 months before a crown or a bridge can be placed on an implant. |

Is everyone suitable for implantation?
There are certain illnesses that do not allow implantation, like e.g. marrow cancer, certain blood disorders or poor bone quality, there is no age limitation, however. |

What extra costs are there?
The above implant prices include the total implantation process. Not included are X-rays, consultation fees, tooth, crown and bridge removals (if necessary) and the price of crowns and/or bridges that are placed on the implants. If you want to see the exact figure, ask for a quote, it's free. |

Can the body reject the implant?
No, the implants are bio-compatible. The implant however can be misplaced, this is why you need to turn to an expert. |
